Details: Judy Heumann is Boulder County’s infant aquatics specialist.  Since 1974, she has personally taught thousands of children to swim and survive in the water. An expert in her field, she has trained dozens of instructors, been spotlighted on television, featured in print, written articles for publication, and spoken before many groups. A graduate of the University of Texas and a mother of three grown children, Judy has a natural rapport with young people and the special ability to teach even the youngest infant or most difficult child.

The initial focus of Infant Aquatics lessons is survival in case of an aquatic accident.  However, Judy’s background and experience enable her to provide continuing programs for all students once they have acquired basic survival skills in private lessons.  This includes Aquababies classes that teach parents how to swim with their skilled babies, FunDay groups for retention and skill enhancement, and stroke school for advanced older students. Due to ever increasing numbers, Judy has a highly trained team working alongside her providing the most exceptional swim program in the area.

With over 35 years of teaching experience, Judy has dedicated herself to ensuring the safest and highest quality swimming instruction to her students. Teaching children and training instructors is her passion.  She encourages parents to come by the pool and see the skill she and her instructors possess, the care they demonstrate while teaching aquatic survival and the joy of swimming that is ever-present in their students.

Times: Times are subject to lesson choices

 

New students attend private 10 minute lessons, four days each week (Monday through Thursday). Lessons are scheduled between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

 

Children who are walking register for 6 weeks of private lessons (24 lessons) to learn to swim-float-swim.

Babies who are not walking register for 4 weeks of private lessons (16 lessons) to learn to swim and roll over to float.

 

Private lessons (for all new students) are scheduled Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

 

Once children complete private lessons, they progress into group classes which are age appropriate.  Group classes are scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  A detailed schedule can be found in the current newsletter at www.infantaquatics.com/judy.

Registration Fee:	$100.00 for new students
	$50.00 discount for siblings registered together
Private Lessons (Required for all New Students):	$80 per week (4 days per week)
